Convert FAT partition to NTFS partition
To convert a FAT partition to NTFS in Windows NT, 2000, or XP, at the command prompt, enter:
convert X:/fs:ntfs
- Replace X with the drive letter of the FAT partition you are converting. You will have to reboot your computer for the changes to take effect.
