Using Microsoft Outlook with GroupWise

There are two ways you can use Microsoft Outlook to check your GroupWise mail. The first way is using IMAP or POP. When using IMAP all email is kept on the server, when using POP all email is downloaded off the server and put on your local machine.

The second option is using the GroupWise Connector for Microsoft Outlook. This option lets you use the GroupWise Calendar, Address Book and many other GroupWise features.

Using IMAP or Pop

  • Open Microsoft Outlook.
  • Click Tools > E-mail Accounts.
  • Choose Add a new e-mail account than click Next.

Logging into Outlook

To set up Outlook to use the GroupWise Connector simply open Microsoft Outlook and it should prompt you to use a profile if that is how you have it set up under the mail options.
